Hello
The importance of the trees
If all 30 million UK gardeners planted a medium-sized tree in their community, school, workplace or garden and nurtured it to maturity, they would store enough carbon equivalent to drive you more than 11 million times around our planet.

About Me
My name is Lucilio Brandao
Welcome amongst those who are good enough to care and brave enough to act!
I pledge to campaign, plan, plant, protect and care for the natural world
What prompted me to start this project?
Humans lost touch with nature, we thought ourselves superior to it, but we forgot that we are part of it, so we need to reconnect right away.
We all suffer from health issues due to our break with nature, stress, mental health, and neck pain, I can go on and on. These are symptomatic of our break with nature as we isolate ourselves in our world of concrete and now we suffer.
My goal with this project is to show how we can connect in our own backyards to help ourselves, the environment, and the climate.
DONATE NOW
My love for nature and all things related to nature from an ant to the blue whale, from dandelion to the giant sequoia, made me start this project we all must do our part no matter how small. Even the fact of planting a single tree on your back garden. And this is my way of doing my bit campaigning for the environment and climate change, biodiversity.

Good things come to those who wait!

Why should we grow trees?
There are many reasons for growing trees. Some of them are more obvious than others, but they are all good!
Depression Vs Nature
Why my interest in nature and the natural world.
In 2007 I started my path into the dark. Anxiety, stress and depression.
I started to wonder why I did have depression. After research and personal experience, I started to realise how nature and the natural world, affected me, keeping me at the surface, didn't allowing me to sink more into the abyss of depression.
As a kid, I did always enjoy and been out in the woods, among trees, swimming in the river,
Even at home, I was surrounded by nature.
Then in 2004 life changed and brings me to a concrete world I lost touch with my nature and my world and the problems started, and depression is a messy world, feeling alone, isolated, thoughts of ending your life.
That's why I started this blog and the project to reconnect with nature
The Garden Forrest my bonsais
The Garden Forest project involves studying the project. I want 100% natural resources and using nature only from Mycorrhizae fungi to recreate a forest, garden, orchard, all this mixture and creating a perfect environment for natural biodiversity and us.
We lost the links with nature, I lost the link and almost cost me.
Trees protect us
Trees provide shade and shelter, create cooler micro-climates, absorb rainfall and help stop soil erosion.
Trees provide for us
They provide food, fuel and timber for us. They improve air quality and reduce noise pollution, making places more pleasant to live in. They provide calm and relaxation away from daily stresses.
Climate and biodiversity
Trees offer potential solutions to the issues we face today. The mass planting of trees will help lock up carbon and reduce the effects of climate change. Trees (and the habitats they create) support a huge and diverse range of animals and plant species – our biodiversity. Without trees, they could be lost forever.
My world is where we all must live in harmony with nature.
